How does Cosmuna calculate my birth chart?

Cosmuna computes precise planetary positions, ascendants, and house cusps using the Swiss Ephemeris (the gold standard in astronomical and astrological calculations). We support dual models: Western Tropical (Placidus houses) and Vedic Sidereal (Lahiri ayanamsha, D9 Navamsa, and Vimshottari Dasha) so you can view your chart through the lens that speaks most clearly to you.

What if I don't know my exact birth time?

When your birth time is unknown or approximate, Cosmuna creates an honest Blueprint focusing on what is astronomically certain (such as planetary signs and major aspects) rather than forcing artificial precision where it doesn't exist. You can update or refine your birth time at any time in Settings.

What are Signals and how are they different from daily horoscopes?

Generic horoscopes give broad predictions based only on your Sun sign. In contrast, Cosmuna Signals are generated from your living Blueprint vector — synthesizing your complete natal chart, today's planetary transit weather, the active intentions you've shared in Becoming, and your current life season into a grounded, actionable daily read.

Can I add friends, partners, or family members?

Yes. In 'Your people', you can add connections at whatever level of detail you have (from Sun sign sketches to full birth charts). Cosmuna helps you understand shared relational dynamics, complementary timing windows, and synastry — without ever reducing humans to crude compatibility percentages or stay/leave verdicts.

What is the Becoming journey?

Becoming is your personal growth and intentional coaching space. Rather than passive astrology, it helps you translate cosmic timing into conscious action. You define what you're stepping into, break your path into weekly moon cycles and daily commitments, and hold structured reflections with your AI coach.

Can I customize Cosmuna's voice and how much astrology it uses?

Absolutely. In Settings, you can choose Cosmuna's tone (Poetic, Direct, Nurturing, or Balanced) and dial your Astrology volume from 'Quiet' (everyday language with cosmic nuance) to 'Full' (deep astrological terms, degrees, and placements).

How does Cosmuna remember our conversations?

Cosmuna maintains stateful, in-process memory layers dedicated solely to your account. It remembers your active goals, life themes, and preferences so you never have to repeat yourself. You can review or clear conversation memory anytime in Settings under 'Data & privacy'.

How do Points and VIP Membership work?

Cosmuna operates on a transparent points model. Free accounts receive points to get started, and points never expire. The Cosmuna VIP subscription provides an automatic monthly allowance of 3,000 points (~3x value), full access to comprehensive PDF reports (Full Life, Varshphal, Sade Sati), and unlimited companion chat.

How do I upgrade, view invoices, or cancel my subscription?

You have complete autonomy over your billing. Visit the Membership page or Settings and click 'Manage Subscription' to open the secure Stripe customer portal, where you can update payment cards, download past invoices, or cancel anytime with one click.

Is my personal data or birth chart used to train AI models?

Never. Your birth data, private reflections, and companion chats are stored securely in encrypted databases and are NEVER sold to third parties or used to train public or commercial AI models. Your privacy and trust are sacred.

Can I delete my chat history or entire account?

Yes. Under Settings > Data & privacy, you have two permanent options: 'Clear conversations & Becoming' (removes chat history and coaching memory while preserving your birth chart profile) or 'Delete account and all data' (permanently erases everything). Both destructive actions require secure OTP verification sent to your registered email.
