Acceptable Use Policy

Cosmuna is a personal companion, and we want it to stay a safe space. This Acceptable Use Policy explains what is not allowed, how we enforce it, and where to find help. It is part of our Terms of Service.

We know real people speak casually — strong language as your own style is fine. What is not fine is using Cosmuna to harm others or to share illegal content.

1. Purpose & scope

This policy applies to everyone who uses Cosmuna and to all content you submit, including your conversations with Cosmo. It works alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

2. Prohibited content & conduct

You may not use Cosmuna to create, share, or attempt to obtain:

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any sexual content involving minors. This is an absolute red line — such content is blocked and reported to the appropriate authorities.
  • Harassment, hate, or threats directed at any person or group, or abuse directed at Cosmo or our team.
  • Sexual content or solicitation, including sexual advances toward the companion.
  • Illegal activity or fraud, or content that facilitates it.
  • Content that encourages or instructs others to self-harm. (Sharing your own distress is not a violation — see Section 4 for support.)
  • Spam, scraping, automated abuse, reverse engineering, or attempts to disrupt or compromise the security of the Service.
  • Impersonationor violations of others' privacy or rights.
  • Use of guidance to make high-stakes automated decisionsabout people (for example, employment, credit, or legal decisions).

3. How we enforce this policy

We use a combination of automated content moderation and human review. When content crosses a line, depending on severity we may:

  • Block the message and respond with a boundary instead of an answer.
  • Issue a warning.
  • Suspend or permanently terminate the account.
  • Report content to authorities where required by law.

Where we terminate an account for violating this policy, unused points may be forfeited to the extent permitted by law.

4. If you are struggling — you are not alone

If you are going through a hard time or having thoughts of self-harm, please reach out to someone who can help. You will never be penalized for sharing that you are struggling — Cosmo is here to listen and point you toward support.

5. Reporting abuse

If you encounter content or behavior that violates this policy, report it to abuse@cosmuna.com. Please include enough detail for us to investigate.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continued use of the Service means you accept the current policy.
